Clarity before the decision
A simple idea, applied carefully: see your situation clearly enough before you make a decision that may shape your life.

What "clarity before the decision" means
Many people arrive at the first session carrying one question: should I stay or go? Should I marry or wait? The question makes sense, but it is usually asked from inside confusion, fear and pressure.
My role is not to answer that question for you. I do not push anyone toward staying or leaving, marrying or stepping away. My role is to help you understand what is really happening and see your options clearly, so the decision comes from you.
Ready-made advice may bring relief for a moment. A decision you reach through your own understanding is the one that holds, because it is genuinely yours.
How sessions work
-
We agree on what you want to work on
At the start we agree on what you want to reach, what success means to you, and the boundaries of my role and yours.
-
We explore what is really happening
Questions that open new angles, and listening to what you say and what goes unsaid, until the picture behind the repeating situations becomes clear.
-
Your options become clear
We lay out the possible paths objectively, with no personal preference from me, along with what each path would involve.
-
Steps you choose
You leave with practical steps you choose yourself, and we review what you learned in the sessions that follow.
The ICF Core Competencies
My work follows the eight Core Competencies set by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), updated in 2025 with the same eight competencies. Here they are in plain words:
-
Demonstrates Ethical Practice
Integrity, honesty and confidentiality, respecting the limits of coaching and referring what lies beyond them.
-
Embodies a Coaching Mindset
An open, curious mind, the belief that you are the one who decides about your life, and continuous learning.
-
Establishes and Maintains Agreements
A clear agreement on your goals, how we work and who is responsible for what, revisited whenever needed.
-
Cultivates Trust and Safety
A space where you can say the true thing without judgment, with respect for your values, culture and privacy.
-
Maintains Presence
Full attention on you during the session, calm, focused and flexible, even when emotions run strong.
-
Listens Actively
Listening to what you say and to the feelings and meanings behind it, not waiting to give a ready answer.
-
Evokes Awareness
Questions and observations that help you see what you had not yet seen in yourself or your situation.
-
Facilitates Client Growth
Turning what you understood into steps you choose, which stay with you after the sessions end.
Coaching, not therapy
I am an ICF-credentialed coach, not a therapist or a doctor. Coaching focuses on the present and the future, on awareness, decisions and patterns. It does not include diagnosis or treatment.
Referral policy
If it becomes clear during our sessions that what you are going through needs specialist psychological or medical care, such as persistent anxiety or deep sadness, the effects of trauma, addiction, or any risk to your safety or someone else's, I will tell you clearly and help you think through reaching a licensed professional. Where safety is at risk, the priority is to contact the relevant services immediately.
Confidentiality
What you share in a session stays confidential. In couples sessions and the Compatibility Audit, individual answers and information are never shared with the other partner without the owner's consent, and what will be discussed in a joint session is explained in advance. The only exceptions are those required by law or where there is a serious risk to someone's life.
Code of Ethics
I follow the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics, which sets out a coach's responsibilities to clients and to the profession, including confidentiality, avoiding conflicts of interest and clear agreements. You can read the full Code on the ICF website.
Start where you are
You do not need to know the answer before you get in touch. Wanting to see more clearly is enough.
