Am I ready to decide?

Twelve short statements, about three minutes, to help you see where you already feel clear and where you may need more reflection before an important relationship decision. There are no right or wrong answers, so choose what is honestly true for you today.

Where are you right now?
I can name what I truly need in a relationship, not only what I want to avoid.
I notice the patterns that repeat in my relationships, and my own part in them.
My feelings about my relationship or love life change so much from day to day that I can’t tell what I really feel.
In close relationships, I can raise a sensitive topic calmly, without it turning into blame or a fight.
I often keep important things to myself to avoid conflict.
I have said my key expectations of marriage or partnership out loud, rather than assuming they are understood.
I know which of my expectations are essential to me and which ones I can be flexible about.
I know what role I want my family to play in my decisions and in my relationship.
I can kindly say no to people close to me when something isn’t right for me.
I can describe the decision or question I’m facing in my relationship in one or two clear sentences.
Fear of what people will say, or of disappointing those around me, is a big part of how I’m thinking about this decision.
If I made the decision today, I would know that my reasons are my own.

This is a general self-reflection, not a diagnosis or psychological assessment. Your result is private. Nobody sees it unless you send it.
